Our history
The physiotherapy department was established in 1984 by Greg Craig & Ian Collier and in 2005 Katie Anderson & husband Andrew Ryan joined Greg as Practice Directors. In 2007, Greg & his family relocated to the Sunshine Coast of Queensland - Katie & Andrew continuing as practice principles. Greg Craig & Kurt Lisle have established The Knee Joint Sports Physiotherapy in Bokarina.
About the physiotherapy department
NSMCP is part of the multidisciplinary Narrabeen Sports Medicine Centre located in the Sydney Academy of Sport, Narrabeen. We welcome elite and recreational athletes of all ages, aiming to make a diagnosis and start rehabilitation in the shortest possible time - enabling a rapid and safe return to normal activities. You do not require a referral to visit us.
Working with other specialists
Our physiotherapists work closely with local GP's & can refer you to other specialists: Sports Physicians, Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Sports Science department, Dietician, Podiatrist, Imaging and the Sports Massage Therapist - many are within the centre.
